Simplex Strainers
Simplex basket strainers provide an effective method for removing dirt, debris, and suspended solids from fluid systems while protecting pumps, valves, meters, heat exchangers, nozzles, and other downstream equipment. Cast-body construction, removable baskets, and multiple filtration options make them suitable for a broad range of industrial fluid-handling applications.
These strainers are designed for applications where the fluid flow can be temporarily interrupted to allow safe access to the filtration basket. During scheduled maintenance, the basket can be removed for cleaning, inspection, or replacement before being reinstalled and returned to service.
Key Benefits
Durable Strainer Housing: Robust cast-body construction provides reliable mechanical strength and long-term durability in demanding fluid-handling applications.
High Pressure Capability: Heavy-duty housing configurations support higher operating pressures for demanding industrial systems.
Compact Design: Simplex housing construction provides an efficient filtration solution where installation space is limited.
Flow Optimization: Internal housing geometry is designed to direct fluid efficiently through the basket while minimizing unnecessary flow restriction.
Easy Basket Access: Removable covers provide access to the internal basket for routine cleaning, inspection, and replacement.
Reliable Sealing: Robust cover and gasket arrangements help maintain a secure seal and minimize fluid leakage during operation.
