Eaton Model 72 Simplex Strainers
A simplex basket strainer is a durable mechanical filtration device designed to remove dirt, scale, rust, weld slag, pipe debris, and other unwanted solid particles from liquid process streams. Installed directly into a pipeline, the strainer directs fluid through a removable basket containing precisely sized openings. Suspended solids are captured inside the basket while the filtered liquid continues through the system.
This type of strainer is particularly well suited to applications where the pipeline can be temporarily shut down for basket inspection, cleaning, or replacement.
